In this book, we identify the origins of registered black and tan English Shepherds, trace their matriculation across the continent in the mid-twentieth century, get to know the key figures who selected dogs for breeding, and reveal the characteristic traits they selected for.
I have included a comprehensive bibliography that culminates years of research and analysis. All proceeds benefit the Old-fashioned Black and Tan English Shepherd Association, a Tennessee nonprofit corporation.
